STRAUSBERG BROS | G.I.A. CERTIFIED DIAMONDS
THE COMPLETE UPDATED LIST OF STONES
AVAILABLE FOR CONSIGNMENT
Working very differently:
Over the years, diamond dealers were under the impression that the larger the stock they accumulate, the more sales they will have. This approach was true during a time where retailers were purchasing their own stock.
But this is no longer the case. Retailers hardly look to build stock but rather purchase only what is necessary for them to sell.
Because why would one want to buy a diamond if there could be a variety of stones available for consignment?
Why will a retailer want to reduce his or her cash flow just to buy what seems to be a ‘good deal?’
Keep your money close to your chest and buy only what you know will sell for sure. Get the diamond(s) you need on consignment and do not commit for anything upfront.
The problem is that there’s such a variety of stones you might need and odds are that your dealer might not have it most of the time.
Get close to dealers who are close to many, world-class dealers.
Here at Strausberg Bros, we don’t accumulate diamond stock ourselves. As a matter of fact, we will never purchase something, no matter how good the price might be unless we know that this item will sell in less than 90 days. Yup, that’s our own internal policy.
But with a large network of world class manufacturers, we can lend you a diamond that you cannot get on consignment.
You tell us what you need, and we will offer it to you on memo. No commitment to buy upfront.
We are brokers. And we’re really good at it.
Yes we will charge you a certain percentage but if you’re getting an item on consignment, what do you prefer to commit for it and pay the price upfront or for a ‘potential’ slightly higher profit, or do you prefer to pay that brokerage fee, get the diamond(s) you wish that will best help you make the sale, and if it doesn’t sell, just return it back?
You can make more money when purchasing stones with us.
Diamond dealers who own their own stock will sell to you only what they own which is limited.
And even if you found that stone with that dealer you work with, you’re here to make money, right?
Well take a moment and tell us what ‘s the best price you got for that diamond you were looking for. Who know? We might beat that price.
Worth a try. No?
So now, keep this in mind. Next time you’re looking for a diamond, approach your dealer(s), get the best price you can and then come to us. Let’s see if we can do something about it.
